Fat Daddy Fitness is operated by Ward Collective, LLC. This page explains the information the app and website save and how it is used.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email, display name, profile photo, optional bio, comeback title, city, and the profile details you choose to provide, such as age, weight, athletic experience, current starting point, goals, and available workout time. When you use the service, we store workouts, dates, duration, distance, pace, steps, route coordinates, streaks, reactions, comments, direct messages, photos, videos, saved gyms, progress photos, and creative-walk transcripts and summaries that you choose to create or share.

Location and fitness data

Location is used only while recording a workout when you grant permission. It creates your route, distance, and pace. Motion data may be used to count steps. You control these permissions in your device settings.

Camera, microphone, and creative walks

Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to take or upload a profile, progress, gym, or community photo or video. When you start a Creative Walk, microphone audio is sent securely to Google Gemini for live transcription. The resulting transcript may be sent to our AI provider to create the summary and next steps you request. We save the transcript and summary with that session; we do not save the live microphone recording unless a feature clearly asks you to record and upload it.

AI personalization

Profile details and gym photos that you intentionally submit to an AI feature may be processed by our AI providers to tailor a workout, analyze available equipment, or summarize a Creative Walk. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and is general fitness information, not medical advice.

What the community sees

Members can see your public display name, profile photo, city when you choose to show it, streak, workout information and media you share to the Showed Up Wall, and comments, reactions, or encouragement you post. Direct messages are visible only to their participants. Your email and internal member ID are not shown on the community wall.

How we use it

We use your information to authenticate your account, sync the website and iPhone app, calculate streaks, record workout history, operate community and messaging features, create requested AI results, send requested creative-walk notes, deliver account and show-up notifications, prevent abuse, provide support, and communicate about your account. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file storage. Netlify hosts FatDaddyFitness.com and its server functions. Google provides optional Google sign-in and Gemini live transcription. OpenAI provides requested photo analysis, workout personalization, and text summaries. Resend delivers transactional email. Apple distributes the iPhone app and provides push-notification delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

Retention and your control

We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes. You can edit your profile, remove supported posts or photos, and download stored account information from My Data. You can permanently delete a regular member account from More → Delete Account in the iPhone app. You can also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@fatdaddyfitness.com.

Security

We use encrypted connections, private workout-photo storage, account-based access rules, and separate owner-only access for private member contact information.

Children

Fat Daddy Fitness is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
